I Am Genuinely Happy Within My True Self

blog

On September 7th and 8th 2019 I attended the iShrink – Extreme Weight Loss Seminar in Melbourne and to say it was life changing would be an understatement. My life took a drastic change that weekend, it was like an awakening, it woke me up like an electric shock and made me realise the damage I was actually doing to myself and how easily I could change it.

Before attending the seminar, I was in the deepest, darkest place I have ever been before. I was depressed and fat. I was angry all the time and if I wasn’t angry, I was crying. Not even I could stand being around me! I had honestly come to the point where I thought life wasn’t worth living anymore and had planned my way out. Not that anyone could tell, because I’d become very good at pretending. The seminar was my last chance, and boy am I glad I took it! I realised that weekend that I didn’t want to die, I just wanted my life as I knew it to end.

Since beginning my journey, I have lost 23.5kgs and have gone from a size 18/20 to a size 10/12. For me the weight loss has just been an extra bonus to the mental and emotional strength I have gained. The seminar taught me how powerful my mind really is and how I can use it to control everything about me! It made me realise that shit is always going to happen, but I get to choose how I react and how I let it make me feel.

Don’t get me wrong though, it is an amazing feeling when my hard work and determination is noticed and to be told I am glowing and look completely different is nice too. Most importantly because of my achievements, people I love and care about are taking a step and beginning their own journeys, which really excites me!

I will be forever grateful and indebted to James Duncan and the team at Riverina Hypnotherapy, with their help I took my life back! I am now maintaining a weight I am happy with, I am genuinely happy within my true self and my life, I am enjoying exercise, I have booked 2 overseas trips next year and I am currently training for my first 5km fun run! Bring on 2020 and just a happy, healthy life in general!

Cheers,
Paige Donnellan
